Hannes Swoboda: as the old year slowly comes to an end ( in my country with some snow) we have to think about the next years main tasks of the S&D group: 1) In 2014 we commemorate the beginning of World War I and will fight against the nationalism and chauvinism of today. 2) The Economic and Social Crisis is not over. We will continue our work on Banking Union and on establishing binding Social Criteria. 3) We will support all democratic forces in our neighborhood and reject violence and violation of human rights 4) We have to fight for transparent and fair international relations including trade 5) We insist on a Data Protection legislation for all Europeans.
I will issue a more detailed program soon.
